Creativity

My little guys have been very creative lately. Every morning Joshua wakes up and goes to the school room to paint or draw. He could spend all day drawing if I’d let him.

If it were just paper and crayons that would be great. But no, out come the scissors and tape and stapler, pretty soon I have rivers taped to the floor, pictures stapled to the wall and little tiny pieces of paper and string everywhere…

I finally ordered some shelves to organize our school room better and hopefully keep some of the messier things out of reach. But I’d love to know how to find a balance between letting them express their creativity and wrecking the whole house? Do you leave the craft items accessible or only allow use under supervision? The OCD clean freak in me can only handle so much creativity!
